Labour Party calls for opposition to quit Parliament, form broad resistance front

Friends, it’s time to make the Georgian people happy by quitting the disgraceful criminal institution called Parliament on New Year’s Eve, said Shalva Natelashvili, leader of the Labor Party.

Shalva Natelashvili called on the opposition to form a broad front of resistance.

“When we tell the entire world to stand by and this occurs, we must set an example of fighting. Why is the opposition still sitting in Georgia’s so-called Parliament? Why is it supporting a dictator who is already bankrupt and has been deposed by the world? Friends, it is time to make the Georgian people happy by quitting the despicable criminal institution known as Parliament on New Year’s Eve. We should stand outside with the people, set up a resistance front, and encourage courageous people into the streets to guarantee that the regime’s existence ends as soon as possible,” Natelashvili remarked.
