French Minister of Economy and Finance – I am looking forward to visiting Georgia

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, being on a visit in France, held a meeting with French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire.

According to the Presidential Administration of Georgia, the sides discussed economic and trade relations, encouragement of investments and enhancement of business ties.

French Minister said that he was looking forward to visiting Georgia. Bruno Le Maire underlined that there was much space for deepening already existing relations between the two countries.

“France is ready to carry out more investments in Georgia. We have many projects for instance in tourism. But tourism should not be the only accent despite the fact that it is important for Georgia. We have to work in direction of transport, urban development, and environment,” French Minister said.
