Free Democrats demand PM's resignation over death of TV Pirveli cameraman

“TV Pirveli cameraman Lekso Lashkarava is a victim of unpunished and openly encouraged violence,” said the opposition Free Democrats party Chair Tamar Kekenadze.
“Free Democrats demand the resignation of the government led by Prime Minister Garibashvili, also the conduct of the new elections. At the same time, the clergy, who openly and publicly called for violence, should be held accountable,” Kekenadze said.
TV Pirveli cameraman Lekso Lashkarava, who was beaten by far-right activists during the anti-Pride rally, died on Sunday.
Interior Ministry said it launched a probe into the case under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving incitement to suicide.
