Archil Talakvadze – I hope that person who damaged Gigi Ugulava’s banner will be detained soon

Archil Talakvadze, Leader of the parliamentary majority, responded to Gigi Ugulava, a single-mandate candidate of European Georgia, running in Khoni election constituency in by-elections being held today.

“I visited many polling stations and saw only blue cards. I don’t believe that the statement of showing red cards to Georgian Dream is grounded,” Talakvadze stated. He also expressed hope that the person who damaged Ugulava’s banner would be detained soon.

According to Ugulava, today voters will show first “red card” to the Georgian Dream. “Today voters of Vani and Khoni will show first “red card” to the Georgian Dream. The Georgian Dream will be defeated, since they lied to voters.

We are convinced in our victory and therefore we are preparing to fulfil our plan – to fight for better Khoni and Vani, make the government increase pensions and social assistance,” Ugulava said.

Parliamentary by-elections are underway in Vani and Khoni, covering the territories of the municipalities. Six candidates are running in the elections.
