Vehicles travelling to and from Turkey to cross border through Kartsakh and Vale

Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance reports that due to the traffic ban on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway section, vehicles heading to Turkey and vice versa will be able to cross the border through Kartsakhi and Vale.

Due to landslide risk, all traffic is prohibited on the 114-194 km highway section, according to the Revenue Service.

“Based on the restrictions, the Customs Department proposed alternate routes – through Kartsakh customs checkpoints and Vale,” the statement notes.

According to the Agency, all customs checkpoints in Georgia are fully operational.
