Revenue Service ready to lift Batumelebi media outlet's account seizure upon tax deal
The Revenue Service has announced its readiness to lift the seizure of Batumelebi media outlet’s accounts if a tax agreement is reached, allowing the media platform to repay its debt according to an agreed schedule.
According to the statement, the account seizure is carried out automatically based on risk assessment indicators integrated into the electronic system.
“In the interest of public transparency, the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance clarifies that as of July 21, 2025, the media outlet Batumelebi has an officially recognised tax debt of GEL 282,191.97.
We emphasise that the seizure of accounts is an automatic enforcement measure triggered by the system’s risk assessment tools.
