Two people detained by Russian soldiers in the vicinity of Lomisi Fathers Monastery have been released. The Georgian State Security Service confirmed the information to First Channel.

Two citizens of Georgia were detained by the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Lomisi Monastery, one monk and one member of the parish, on the charge of crossing the so-called border illegally.

According to Security Service, a hotline has been activated and the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia was notified about the fact.
