On March 5, non-resident ambassadors accredited to Georgia visited the village of Odzisi, near the occupation line, to assess the situation on the ground, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
According to the ministry, the diplomats were briefed on the current situation in the occupied territories and the humanitarian challenges faced by the local population.
The delegation included ambassadors from Belgium, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Cambodia, Tajikistan, Guatemala, the Philippines, Pakistan, Somalia, Burundi, and Mali.
Prior to the visit, the ambassadors presented copies of their credentials to Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Giorgi Zurabashvili and Khatuna Totladze.
