The current epidemiological situation makes it possible to start a new academic year as planned, – said the Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia.

According to the Deputy Minister, the Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of Education has prepared recommendations that will be implemented.

“Our inspectorate checked the safety in different places, visited several schools, checked the readiness, gave recommendations and, of course, will continue to monitor the readiness of the schools. At this stage, there is no reason for postponing the start of a new academic year,” – Tamar Gabunia said.
