The Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality explains that a 62-year-old COVID infected patient, who was hospitalized at Bochorishvili Clinic in Tbilisi, did not arrive from the occupied territory.

It was reported before that a 62-year-old patient was transferred from the occupied Tskhinvali.

“It is about a Georgian citizen living in Tbilisi city, who entered the territory controlled by the central government on May 12 from the Zemo Larsi border checkpoint. He was taken to Mtskheta Fever Center. The test revealed coronavirus. The mentioned person did not arrive from the occupied territory”, – Ketevan Tsikhelashvili’s office said in a statement.
