Salome Zurabishvili - Playing Soviet Union's Anthem in Parliament is unacceptable

“I urge the members of the Parliament of Georgia to respect Freedom Charter, adopted by the Parliament, Georgian President’s statement reads.

Salome Zurabishvili said it is unacceptable to play the Anthem of the Soviet Union in the Parliament of Georgia.

“Soviet Union’s Anthem played yesterday in the Parliament is a violation of the law, and discredits Georgian state,” the President stressed.
