Traffic to be limited on Rustaveli Avenue due to GD’s public gathering

Traffic on Rustaveli Avenue between First Republic Square and Freedom Square will be restricted on April 29 due to a public gathering.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, the limitation will only apply to the bus lane starting today at 11:00 a.m., while driving on Rustaveli Avenue will be fully blocked from 8:00 p.m. till April 29.

Traffic to Melikishvili Avenue and Rustaveli metro station will be allowed through Griboedov, Makashvili, Barnovi, and Shanidze streets. Movement on Freedom Square will be limited to Rustaveli Avenue.

Buses and minibuses will link to the right bank of Mtkvari River via Mikheil Javakhishvili Street before heading towards Baratashvili Street.

Tbilisi City Hall apologises for the inconvenience.
