Salome Zourabichvili affirms representing Georgian people at Trump's inauguration

“I am proud to have represented Georgia, its society, and its citizens at the inauguration of the U.S. President,” said Salome Zourabichvili, former President of Georgia.

“I am pleased to have attended the inauguration of the U.S. President—not just as an attendee, but as a representative of Georgia, its society, and its people. This is significant because Georgia needed to be represented as a longstanding strategic partner of the United States. For 30 years, the U.S. has supported Georgia in its state-building efforts, and we are true friends,” she remarked.

According to Zourabichvili, a series of business meetings are scheduled starting January 21, providing an opportunity for discussions following the inauguration. She intends to participate in several meetings.

“I plan to hold discussions that are crucial for elevating our relations to a level that is beneficial for Georgia-U.S. cooperation,” she added.
