Public Defender: We will disclose Mzia Amaglobeli's health information upon request as it is personal

Levan Ioseliani, the Georgian Public Defender, stated, “Health information is personal, and we will disclose Mzia Amaglobeli’s [the founder of Georgian news outlets Batumelebi and Netgazeti], health information with the parties upon request.”

“The public is aware that the Public Defender and his office have been effectively monitoring Mzia Amaglobeli’s case for a considerable amount of time.

We have made seven visits to her, and we provide her representatives with all of the information we get from the prison. Today’s meeting was also about that,” Ioseliani said.

Ioseliani pledged “Everything will be done to make her health information available to the parties.”
