Protesters throw eggs at Parliament building

During the first session of Georgia’s newly elected 11th parliament, opposition protesters gathered outside the Parliament building, throwing eggs to express their dissatisfaction.

The protesters are rejecting the results of the October 26 elections, labelling the 11th parliament as illegitimate.

As a result of the demonstration, traffic on Rustaveli Avenue has been closed.
