President attends Constitutional Court Judge's swearing-in ceremony in Batumi
President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Revaz Nadaraia, the newly appointed judge of the Constitutional Court, held in Batumi.
The President addressed the audience and wished Nadaraia success in his new role.
“I congratulate Mr. Revaz Nadaraia on his appointment to this important and highly responsible position. Defending the Constitution of Georgia and ensuring constitutional oversight is a duty we all share.
A few months ago, I took an oath to uphold the Constitution before the people and the nation. The Constitutional Court plays a vital role in the development of our country, and serving as its judge—guided solely by the supreme law of the state—is a great honour. I wish Mr. Revaz every success in his role as a guardian of justice,” said President Kavelashvili.
The ceremony was attended by judges of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, along with the chairpersons of the Government and the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
