President Mikheil Kavelashvili attends Enthronement of Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III

The Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili attended the enthronement ceremony of Shio III, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia.

Kavelashvili attended the ceremony together with his children.

The enthronement of Shio III took place at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

Among those present at the cathedral were Bidzina Ivanishvili, honorary chairman of Georgian Dream, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, as well as representatives of the executive and legislative branches of government.
