PM tags secret recording as dirtiest provocation, falsification and fabrication

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said the audio recording aired by TV Pirveli is “totally inadmissible and unacceptable provocation.”

“We understand very well what this provocation served. We understand very well where this provocation comes from and this, of course, is Mikheil Saakashvili’s attempt, especially against the background when the real shapes of reaching a political agreement between the government and the opposition were revealed.

This is totally unacceptable and has to be condemned by both the government and the opposition. I hope that a healthy and constructive part of the opposition will distance themselves from this provocation”, Gharibashvili said.

On March 11, based on the POG’s motion, Tbilisi City Court issued a warrant on seizing the electronic devices from TV Pirveli, which had the secret recordings of private conversations used in the Nodar Meladze Saturday Program on March 6.
