“I would like to congratulate Mikheil Kavelashvili on assuming the position of President of Georgia. He is a worthy and patriotic individual, and I am confident that he will serve his country with dignity in this crucial role over the next five years,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
According to the PM, Georgia has not had a patriotic president for over 20 years, and Mikheil Kavelashvili must now establish a new tradition after this two-decade gap.
“I extend my congratulations to Mikheil Kavelashvili on becoming the President of Georgia. He is a worthy, patriotic person, and I am confident he will serve his country with honor in this vital position over the next five years. I wish him success in all his endeavors. The challenges ahead are significant. For more than 20 years, this country has not had a patriotic president, so Mikheil Kavelashvili has a responsibility to establish a new tradition. It’s a great responsibility, but I am confident he will handle it excellently,” the Prime Minister remarked.
