Kavelashvili said elevating Georgia-China relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership would create broader opportunities for cooperation and deliver greater benefits to both nations.

This important milestone provides an excellent opportunity to reflect upon the remarkable progress achieved in relations between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China over the past three decades and to celebrate the enduring friendship that has been cultivated through mutual respect, trust, and constructive cooperation.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Georgia and China have steadily strengthened their partnership and expanded cooperation across a wide range of areas, including trade, investment, connectivity, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges. Through our joint efforts, our bilateral relations have continued to develop dynamically, yielding tangible results and creating new opportunities for cooperation.
