Mamuka Khazaradze calls on Bidzina Ivanishvili - 'If you do not condemn violence within next 24 hours, all responsibility will fall on you'

One of the ‘Strong Georgia’ leaders, Mamuka Khazaradze called on the honorary chair of the Georgian Dream Party, Bidzina Ivanishvili “to publicly condemn the attack on journalists and punish the perpetrators.”

‘If you do not come out and condemn this fact within the next 24 hours, if you do not arrest these criminals and show the country and the entire society that you distance yourself from them, that the law, police, justice, and law enforcement agencies exist in Georgia – the entire responsibility falls on you, personally!” he stated during Sunday press point.

Khazaradze said, “Yesterday, we witnessed a special operation carried out by criminals and instigated by the state, specifically by Bidzina Ivanishvili.”

“Bidzina Ivanishvili has removed his mask and shown the Georgian people his true face. Society that experienced the 1990s, saw exactly the same picture yesterday, when criminal gangs driven by a thirst for revenge, brutally attacked people, beating them mercilessly, especially journalists. This is a moment when the police remain silent, watching this crime without a word,” he noted, urging the public “not to surrender.”
