Lelo’s Khazaradze urges citizens to exercise their constitutional rights; reject forces that undermine free choice
“Our citizens must exercise their constitutional right and refrain from casting their votes for the forces that have deprived our country of its free choice,” declared Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the Lelo–Strong Georgia coalition.
Khazaradze emphasised the importance of active participation by opposition voters in the upcoming elections.
“It is vital that our people exercise their constitutional right and do not support the power that has stripped the nation of its freedom to choose, isolated Georgia from the European path, and plunged us into a deep crisis, a swamp of corruption and criminality.
I cast my vote for the liberation of those cities, villages, and municipalities that genuinely belong to the Georgian people, not to some gang that has distorted our historical path. Opposition voters must be proactive. We all know that election fraud has occurred in this country before, but there is a limit. When voters actively participate, it guarantees the integrity of the process, as it did in 2003, 2012, and other pivotal years when our citizens stood firm.
Therefore, I call on everyone to be engaged and active in the electoral process,” Khazaradze urged.
