Kazbegi customs checkpoint resumes full operation

The Kazbegi customs checkpoint has resumed operations in full capacity, according to a statement released by Georgia’s Revenue Service.

“Customs control procedures are proceeding smoothly and without interruption,” the statement reads.

On July 31, the Kazbegi Border Checkpoint was temporarily closed for safety following the activation of an early warning alert.
