Light vehicle crossings at Kazbegi checkpoint halt for one month

The crossings for passenger cars at the Kazbegi customs checkpoint will be closed for one month beginning May 5 owing to scheduled construction-rehabilitation work, the Revenue Office of the Finance Ministry informed.

Thought the light vehicles will use the crossings for trucks in a 24-hour regime. The checkpoint will resume operation in its usual capacity after the completion of reconstruction works.
