Irakli Pavlenishvili: Majority of population views elections as special operation

“There are numerous parties in Georgia. Perhaps even a group of friends could consider forming a party. And just because there are 17 registered parties, it doesn’t mean there are many parties, or that these parties possess greater knowledge. The most important thing is the level of support they enjoy among the opposition electorate,” stated Irakli Pavlenishvili, member of the United National Movement.

According to Pavlenishvili, “the most popular parties are not participating in the elections.”

“The vast majority of the population does not view this process as legitimate, but rather as a special operation. I am confident it will remain so in the international context as well.

Ivanishvili and his gang determine everything. As for the so-called opposition representatives, we warned them that taking on the role of systemic opposition would be destructive for them, that they would face various problems at every stage, which would contribute to discrediting them among opposition-minded people.

Therefore, the events that will occur are predictable by us, and we have stated that they are harming themselves,” Pavlenishvili declared.
