GeoStat: External Merchandise Trade up by 6.6 percent in January-November

In January-November 2024 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 21 112.7 million, 6.6 percent higher year-on-year,  the National Statistics Service (GeoStat) reported.

According to Geostat, the exports equaled 6 010.9 million (7.9 percent higher), while the imports stood at USD 15 101.7 million (6.1 percent higher). The negative trade balance was USD 9 090.8 million in January-November 2024 and its share in external trade turnover constituted 43.1 percent.

In January-November 2024 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 81.7 percent. The top partners were Kyrgyzstan (USD 1 166.1 million), Kazakhstan (USD 795.4 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 664.4 million).
