GeoStat: External Merchandise Trade up by 0.1 per cent in January-March

External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 5 862.1 million in January-March 2026, 0.1 per cent higher year-on-year, the National Statistics Service of Georgia (GeoStat) reported.

The value of exports increased by 23.3 per cent, reaching USD 1 723.7 million, while imports decreased by 7.2 per cent to USD 4 138.4 million.

The trade deficit equalled USD 2 414.7 million, and its share in trade turnover constituted 41.2 per cent.
