At the Para Weightlifting World Cup in Chile, the Georgian national team won seven medals – two gold, two silver, and three bronze.
Both gold medals were claimed by Akaki Jincharadze (+107 kg). He lifted 246 kg in the individual event to become the champion and secured another gold with a total of 721 kg across three attempts.
Maka Quinchia (+86 kg) won two silver medals – taking second place in the individual program with 126 kg, and again finishing vice-champion with a total result of 371 kg.
Giorgi Latsabidze (+107 kg) lifted 218 kg in the individual event to earn a bronze medal, and added a second bronze with a total of 433 kg.
Iago Gorgodze (-107 kg) lifted 180 kg in the individual competition and also claimed a bronze medal.
