Georgian Interior Minister meets Armenian Counterpart

Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Gela Geladze is on an official visit to the Republic of Armenia. During his visit, he held a working meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Arpine Sargsyan.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the discussion centred on the need for peace and cooperation to ensure the stable development of the South Caucasus region.

The parties addressed the importance of a close and effective police partnership between the law enforcement agencies of both countries.

Additionally, Geladze and Sargsyan focused on sectoral reforms, ongoing projects, and the significance of sharing information and expertise within the framework of police cooperation.

Gela Geladze emphasized that Georgia is always ready to deepen cooperation with Armenia across various areas.
