Georgian, Hungarian Parliaments sign Framework Agreement on Cooperation

The Parliament of Georgia and the National Assembly of Hungary have concluded the Frame Agreement on Cooperation.

According to the Parliament’s press office, “the document emphasizes the historical friendship of Georgia and Hungary based on shared European values and aims to facilitate bilateral relations and beneficial exchanges between the two legislative bodies.”

“In accordance with the Agreement, the National Assembly of Hungary will share its experience of EU integration with the Georgian Parliament and provide full assistance in achieving progress on the EU membership path.

The Agreement was signed during the official visit of the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, and his accompanying delegation to Hungary. The signatures on the Agreement were affixed by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, H.E. László Kövér,” reads the statement.
