Parliament elects two judges to Supreme Court

The Georgian Parliament has appointed two new judges to the Supreme Court.

During today’s parliamentary session, each candidate was voted on individually.

Levan Nemsadze received the support of 82 MPs, with no opposition. Similarly, Mikheil Jinjolia garnered the backing of 82 MPs, also without opposition.

Both individuals have now been appointed as lifetime judges of the Supreme Court.
