The Public Broadcaster building will be lit up in red on this day.

According to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia, during the nine months of 2020 (January-September), 19 women were murdered, including 12 cases of domestic crime, and seven cases of other motives. In addition, there were 20 attempted murders of women, 11 of which were committed on the grounds of domestic crime.

Public Broadcaster regularly covers gender equality issues and prioritizes active work on this subject.
