Georgian government will arrange the arrival in Georgia of whose Georgian citizens who are in Italy currently and have purchased or booked tickets for the flights that have been canceled for the next two weeks, – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia released this information.
The Ministry explains that the Georgian government suspended direct flights with Italy within the scope of measures designed to prevent a further spread of COVID-19. The Civil Aviation Agency has already notified the airlines operating charter and regular flights to Italy, as well as the Italian aviation authorities.
According to the state agency, the restriction is temporary in nature and will be in force until the epidemic risks in the Italian Republic are reduced.
