Interior Minister meets Italian Ambassador

The Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, met with the Ambassador of Italy to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported. During their introductory meeting, Gomelauri congratulated the Ambassador on commencing his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success.

The meeting underscored the significance of fostering close and effective collaboration between the law enforcement agencies of both countries.

Discussions revolved around the fruitful cooperation in law enforcement between Italy and Georgia, focusing on deepening future relations. The parties explored current perspectives and reaffirmed their commitment to actively continuing cooperation across various domains in the times ahead.

The sides expressed hope that ongoing cooperation and bilateral relations would be further strengthened.
