Georgian Airways has launched direct flights from Tbilisi to the Italian city of Forli, with the inaugural flight departing from Tbilisi International Airport today.
During the summer season, the Tbilisi–Forli route will operate once a week, every Thursday. Starting April 26, the airline will also launch direct flights to Rome Fiumicino Airport twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. With these additions, Georgian Airways will operate daily flights to Italy: three times a week to Milan, twice to Rome, and once to Forli.
Forli is known as a medical resort, offering European-standard check-ups, rehabilitation services, wellness treatments, and thermal spa centres. To mark the launch of the Tbilisi–Forli route, an event was held at Tbilisi International Airport.
Georgian Airways will also continue direct summer flights to other European destinations, including Paris, Nice, Vienna, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Larnaca.
Notably, all European flights are scheduled during daytime hours, and standard fares include checked baggage.
