Direct regular air service between the capitals of Georgia and Romania will resume. According to the Union of the Georgian Airports, flights on the Bucharest–Tbilisi–Bucharest route will be operated by the Romanian airline DAN AIR.
“According to the application submitted by the airline to the Civil Aviation Agency, the carrier will operate flights from July 1 through October 24, with a frequency of two flights per week, every Tuesday and Saturday.
The Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia granted the airline the necessary authorization to operate the flights on June 9,” the statement said.
