FM meets Dutch Ambassador

Ilia Darchiashvili, Georgian Foreign Minister met Meline Arakelian, the newly appointed Dutch Ambassador to Georgia, on Friday.

The FM congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment and wished her success in her future diplomatic activities.

Georgia-Netherlands friendly and partnership relations both on a bilateral level and within the frames of international organizations were accentuated at the meeting.

Ilia Darchiashvili provided the Ambassador with the details of Georgia’s EU integration process and expressed hope that the progress would be recognized which would be reflected in granting EU candidate status.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reiterated readiness to continue and further intensity cooperation.
