Georgian FM meets Norwegian counterpart

Within the framework of his visit to Norway, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his Norwegian colleague, Espen Barth Eide.

At the meeting, the two ministers reviewed Georgia-Norway relations and cooperation in international formats.

The Norwegian FM reconfirmed strong support for Georgia’s foreign political priorities. Ilia Darchiashvili thanked his colleague for Georgia’s support on the European and Euro-Atlantic integration path.

The parties welcomed cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats based on common interests and values. Ilia Darchiashvili updated his Norwegian colleague on the challenges faced in the occupied territories. He thanked Espen Barth Eide for Norway’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
