Finance Ministry – If accusations voiced by Vasil Sopromadze are not confirmed, we will demand making public apology

If the accusations voiced by “Fresco” founder Vasil Sopromadze against employees of Finance Ministry are not confirmed by the internal audit, the ministry will apply to legal measures and will also demand making public apology on part of Sopromadze for damaging the reputation of the system and misleading the public – Finance Ministry said in a statement.

The Ministry released the statement in response to the video address released by “Fresco” founder Vasil Sopromadze. “The accusations will remain groundless before completion of the dispute,” The Ministry said.

In his video address businessman Vasil Sopromadze slams the government for its attitude to business and urges politicians to use common sense. “I urge you once again “don’t treat the business like a hooker. Believe me, the business will give you a proper answer,” Vasil Sopromadze says.

The Revenue Service of Finance Ministry launched checking the tax activities of “Fresco” on February 20, 2018.
