The final version of the 2026 budget draft has been submitted to the Parliament for consideration, according to which the total amount of the expenditure part of the consolidated budget is 36.3 billion GEL, the Finance Ministry of Georgia reported.

According to the Ministry, next year, real economic growth is prognosticated at 5.0%, and in the medium term, real economic growth is forecast at 5.3%. The nominal GDP forecast is set at 114.1 billion GEL. Per capita gross domestic product exceeds USD 11,300.

Comparing the previous version, the nominal GDP forecast for 2026 has been increased by 3.6 billion GEL. The tax revenues of the consolidated budget are set at 27.04 billion GEL, which is 23.7% of GDP. Compared to the previous version of the project, this figure has increased by 240.0 million GEL.

The budget deficit is 2.5% of GDP, and the government debt is within 33.4% of GDP, the Finance Ministry said.
