Georgia sets 'new historical maximum' in Prosperity Index, Finance Ministry says 

Georgia has ranked 53rd among 167 countries in the Legatum Prosperity Index, moved up by two places. With 62.3 points out of 100, the country set its new historical maximum, Finance Ministry reported on Wednesday.

“In 2021, Georgia is ahead of all neighbouring countries in the Prosperity Index, only the Baltic states are behind the post-Soviet countries. This year, Georgia was named in the top ten for its long-term (ten-year) improvement in infrastructure and market access. On top of that, Georgia leads in terms of long-term improvement of Internet access in Eastern Europe,” the Ministry noted.
