Economy Ministry to select consulting company for Anaklia project

The process of selecting an international consulting company for the Anaklia deep-water port is nearing completion. LEPL Anaklia Deepwater Port Development Agency organizes the process that is due to end in a few weeks.

The international company will be obliged to update the commercial justification of the project. New pandemic circumstances emerged a need for updating the cargo flow forecasts and business model.

The rebidding to select a new investor for the Anaklia project will be announced by the end of this year, shortly after commercial justification is updated.
