The Ambassador of the Netherlands to Georgia, Meline Arakelian, has congratulated the Georgian people on Independence Day.

In a video message, Arakelian reaffirmed the Netherlands’ strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“On behalf of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Georgian people on Independence Day. Georgia has fought hard and made many sacrifices for its independence, and its people continue to defend their freedom for future generations. Since Georgia gained independence, the Netherlands has been a reliable partner and friend. We remain committed to supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, including through our continued participation in the EU Monitoring Mission. We are and will remain by your side. Long live Georgia,” she said.
