Azerbaijan's Parliament Speaker congratulates Georgian counterpart on Independence Day

Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, congratulated Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Georgia’s Independence Day.

In her letter, Gafarova commends the strong multilateral relations between the Georgian and Azerbaijani parliaments and expresses hope that this partnership will continue to grow and deepen in the future.

“Against the backdrop of centuries-old good-neighbourly relations between our peoples, I am particularly proud of the close and strategic cooperation between our parliaments. Alongside the ongoing active dialogue and fruitful collaboration at various levels, our delegations are working successfully on the international stage, addressing significant issues with mutual support and understanding.

I am confident that the multilateral relations and sincere partnership between the Georgian and Azerbaijani legislative bodies will further expand and strengthen for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.”
