Foreign colleagues positively evaluate the decision of Georgian Dream that we will not have our own candidate in the forthcoming presidential elections – Archil Talakvadze, Leader of the parliamentary majority stated.

“Foreign colleagues said that the move is exemplary and represents a democratic step. They believe that the ruling team gives other political parties and initiative groups an opportunity to participate and win in the elections,” Talakvadze said.

Leader of the parliamentary majority reported that discussions were ongoing in the ruling team about which candidate Georgian Dream Party was intended to support in the elections.

The sitting of Political Council of Georgian Dream will be held on September 9, based on the information of First Channel.
