Ana Natsvlishvili: Georgian Dream deliberately disrupts law and order

“Yesterday’s events confirmed that the Georgian Dream has deliberately disrupted law and order, and its goal is to put the entire country and every citizen of Georgia at risk and leave them defenceless,” said Ana Natsvlishvili, a member of the Strong Georgia coalition.

According to her, the legislative changes proposed today “are a step towards legalising a dictatorship that society will not tolerate.”

“We are not going to let the Georgian Dream attempt to establish a Russian-style dictatorship in the Georgian state.

Strong Georgia demands that Zviad Kharazishvili resign immediately. It is unacceptable that violent people are being brought up as defenders of the law.

He should be removed from office immediately, and a criminal prosecution should be filed against him, even for the single incident that was captured by several cameras and hundreds of people yesterday.

And to those law enforcement officials who still have common sense, I encourage you to speak out against lawlessness and violence,” added Natsvlishvili.
