Strong Georgia: Regime robbed Mate Devidze of his future today. Fight must continue on all fronts

“The fight must continue on all fronts,” Strong Georgia party stated after Tbilisi City Court sent Mate Devidze behind bars for four years and six months.

“Today at the city court, the regime’s servants once again confirmed their slavish obedience to Ivanishvili and sentenced 21-year-old Mate Devidze to almost 5 years in prison. The regime has robbed Mate, who was defending himself from police violence, of his future today,” the party noted, calling the ruling “another fatal mistake by Ivanishvili’s violent gang formation.”

The party pledged support and solidarity with Mate Devidze, his friends and family members. “The fight must continue on all fronts! Ivanishvili’s government must be defeated as soon as possible so that all political prisoners can be free!”
