UNM demands PM's resignation

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) party demands the resignation of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Head of the Special State Protection Service Anzor Chubinidze following the TV Pirveli story.

UNM member Zaal Udumashvili said the TV story contains signs of a serious organized crime that should be investigated.

“We learned from this story that the country’s top officials, including the Prime Minister, are the leaders of Zonder gangs that chase our children and physically assault them, even threatening to kill them as they did not like their comments on Bera’s wall (Facebook),” Udumashvili stated.

Earlier today, Lelo For Georgia party also echoed the TV story and demanded PM’s resignation.

TV Pirveli aired the story on Saturday about the conversation between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Head of Special State Protection Service of Georgia, Anzor Chubinidze, and Bera Ivanishvili.
