MP Archil Gorduladze accuses collective UNM of faking regional engagement campaign

“In the spring of 2026, the moment the weather turned fine, they announced they would tour the regions, then met behind closed doors with their own party activists, and the moment the weather turned, they abandoned the whole endeavour,” declared MP Archil Gorduladzе, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs.

Gorduladze further stated that the collective UNM has been handed a mandate to establish external governance over the country by whatever means necessary.

“Five attempted revolutions have come to nothing; they have been defeated in ten elections. In the spring of 2026, the moment the weather turned fine, they announced they would tour the regions, then met behind closed doors with their own party activists, with themselves. The moment the weather turned, they gave it up entirely. Can you imagine Nika Gvaramia going to Borjomi or Kakheti and sitting down to talk with a farmer against the backdrop of his statements about Borjomi mineral water and Georgian wine? The venture of these collective Gvaramias into the regions is doomed to the same ignominious failure as their five attempts at revolution,” said Gorduladzе.
