The de-facto Foreign Ministry of Tskhinvali occupational regime evaluates the activities of Georgian authorities as ‘yet another attempt to check the firmness of South Ossetian state border.”

According to the de-facto South Ossetian Foreign Ministry, the Georgian government does not want to establish conditions for non-resumption of Georgian-Ossetian armed conflict.

The de-facto Foreign Ministry also said that the statements of co-chairs of Geneva International Discussions, EU and OSCE regarding the current situation were unacceptable.

“We urge the international organizations to make efforts to stop Georgia from plotting provocations. We also call on the Georgian side for taking the moves to give a constructive way out of the escalating crisis,” reads the statement of the de-facto Ministry.
